Important Update about Registration Fees 2025-26

Dear GSRA Families,

Registration for the 2025-2026 season is now open on the GSRA Registration page.

We want to inform you that there will be an increase in registration fees for the upcoming season. We understand this may raise some concerns, and we want to be transparent about the reason behind this change.

As a non-profit organization, all registration fees go directly toward operating costs: ice time, referees, timekeepers, coaching support, equipment, and other essentials that keep our players on the ice.

Unfortunately, the cost of delivering a season of ringette continues to rise. The increase in fees is necessary just to meet the basic demands of running our programs. Even with this adjustment, we are operating very close to the break-even point, and in some divisions, at a deficit.

Please know:

• This increase is not for profit, but simply to keep programs running.
• We are actively organizing fundraising efforts to help offset rising costs and ease the burden on families.
• We remain committed to player development, including skills clinics for shooting, goalies, and power skating in the upcoming season.

We’d also like to share that the association is charged a fee by Ringette Ontario for every volunteer and bench staff member registered with our teams. While this has always been the case, we want to be transparent about all the costs the association absorbs in order to support our programs.
